Mitch Jacobson is a video director, editor & author of Mastering Multicamera Techniques (Focal Press). He is the owner of Category-5 Entertainment, Inc, a broadcast television, live streaming and entertainment production studio in New York City.

Mitch’s credits include concert films for Paul McCartney, Aerosmith, U2, The Rolling Stones and broadcast television programs for ABC, MTV, PBS, Discovery and A&E. He has also directed global live stream events and branded entertainment for top advertising agencies and Fortune 500 companies. His productions have been nominated twice for Primetime Emmy® Awards.

Mitch is a member of The Motion Picture Editor's Guild (Hollywood/NY), The Sports Video Group and Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE). He is a Certified NewTek Tricaster Operator and Instructor, Avid Editor and an Apple Certified Pro on Final Cut.
